On October 6th, countries from across the Global LMIC Cerebral Palsy Register (GLM-CPR) Network came together to celebrate World Cerebral Palsy Day 2025. This year’s global theme, #UniqueAndUnited, invited communities to share stories of strength, inclusion, and connection.
From lively parades to joyful community gatherings across Argentina, Brazil, Bangladesh, Malawi, South Africa, Mexico, Lebanon, Thailand, and Suriname—this day was a global celebration! Online and on the ground, voices united in solidarity, colour, and care. Clinics came alive with laughter, learning, and love—all for children and families living with cerebral palsy!
Together, these moments capture more than a celebration, they represent a growing international movement for equity, visibility, and understanding.
