JOIN OUR
NETWORK.
Join a global community of organisations and individuals dedicated to making meaningful changes in the lives of people with cerebral palsy in the majority world population.
WHY
JOIN?
The burden of cerebral palsy is two to three times higher in low- and middle-income countries when compared with high-income countries. There are gaps in essential data on Cerebral Palsy from LMICs which is critical for service planning, development, and delivery.
A consorted global initiative by forming partnerships, collaboration, and knowledge sharing would reduce this gap. Better evidence on the epidemiology of CP in LMICs will help to understand the determinants and distribution of CP in LMICs. Our collective effort will help reduce the burden of potentially preventable causes, and promote early diagnosis, intervention, rehabilitation, and survival of millions of people living with CP in LMICs.

Global Low Middle Income Country Cerebral Palsy Register (GLM CPR) is an international register which collects and harmonises clinical information about children with Cerebral Palsy in low-and middle-income countries. By providing a platform for data collection and advancement of translational research, the register drives improvements in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of CP in low resource settings.

With support from thousands of key informants in remote and rural areas of LMICs, our volunteers are changing lives daily. Our volunteers have diverse backgrounds; consumers, researchers, professionals, and students, all playing their part. The most important attributes of our volunteers are compassion, commitment, and reliability.
